Kelly Ripa finally got to see her Broadway baby!
After Ripa told viewers on Monday’s (March 9) Live with Kelly and Mark that her and Mark Consuelos‘ son Joaquin told her to wait until opening night to come see his Broadway debut in Death of a Salesman, she shared a proud mama moment on Wednesday’s episode, having decided to go see him perform in previews on Tuesday night (March 10), whether he liked it or not.
“I didn’t ask for permission. I just went. I’m like, ‘You know what? I’m a ticket buyer too, and I’m going,’” she teased.
Consuelos, who was able to see Sunday night’s (March 8) opening preview performance and also joined Ripa at last night’s show, told her, “You said I undersold it.”
While Ripa said she “believed” Consuelos, she was under the impression that he was “just being like a proud dad.”
