‘Mandalorian & Grogu’: Jon Favreau Brings Final Trailer, First 17 Minutes to CinemaCon

Grogu is ready for the big screen.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu, a spinoff film of Disney+’s The Mandalorian TV show, is coming to theaters and flew into CinemaCon on Thursday for a sneak peak.

Filmmaker Jon Favreau hit the stage at the Las Vegas event. “Star Wars made me fall in love with movies,” he told the crowd. “I saw it for the first time with my dad.” He added of the movie’s team, “I hope that our enjoyment and excitement and love of Star Wars translates to fans seeing it for the first time.”

He noted his pride in bringing Grogu, aka Baby Yoda, to the big screen: “We can’t wait to introduce him to a brand new audience.”
