Martha Stewart and José Andrés won’t be cooking up anymore Yes, Chef! for NBC.
The network has canceled the cooking competition after one season. It premiered in April 2025 and will not appear on the network’s 2026 summer schedule.
The premiere episode averaged 1.5M, per Nielsen’s live+same day ratings with a 0.14 in the demo and stayed relatively consistent across its ten episodes.
The series put 12 highly skilled chefs, who have been nominated by their bosses, co-workers, friends and even family, through an ultimate test, per NBC’s logline. Stewart and Andrés guided the chefs each week through a series of culinary challenges designed to test and overcome their personal issues.
