Zach Braff — writer, director, soundtrack producer and star of the cult-classic film — helped fans relive early 2000s magic Saturday night at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Filled with loads of surprise guests, including Braff’s Garden State co-star Natalie Portman, the sold-out concert reunited the beloved artists behind the movie’s Grammy Award-winning compilation soundtrack, an album that cemented indie-rock superstars, most notably, The Shins.
The “New Slang” singers were joined by Iron & Wine, Frou Frou, Colin Hay, Thievery Corporation, Remy Zero, Cary Brothers, Bonnie Somerville, Sophie Barker from Zero 7 and more to perform the film’s nostalgic soundtrack.
