Amazon MX Player is readying a suite of titles for its 2026 slate, as it seeks to compete in the competitive Indian streaming market.
Made In India: The Titan Story, will star Naseeruddin Shah and Jim Sarbh, and is billed as “an inspiring drama centred on ambition and building a legacy.” The “marquee” title will sit alongside others such as Sankalp, which is a socio-political thriller starring Nana Patekar, Sanjay Kapoor, Neeraj Kabi and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.
Amazon MX Player, the free streamer that sits alongside Prime Video in Amazon’s Indian streaming suite, is planning to launch 150-plus new and returning show this year.
Further new shows include retribution thriller Ab Hoga Hisaab, featuring Shaheer Sheikh, Mouni Roy, Sanjay Kapoor, administrative drama The Bureaucrat, starring Amol Parashar, and high-octane actioner Kaptaan, starring Saqib Saleem.
