NBCUniversal Restructure Is Official: Pearlena Igbokwe To Run NBC, Frances Berwick To Oversee Bravo & Peacock Unscripted As Donna Langley & Matt Strauss Unveil Teams

NBCUniversal’s long-awaited restructure is now official.

Donna Langley, Chief Content Officer and Chairman, NBCUniversal Studio Group and Matt Strauss, Chairman of NBCUniversal Media Group have restructured their teams after their promotions last year.

For Langley, the two biggest pieces are Pearlena Igbokwe becoming Chairman, Television Studios, NBC Entertainment & Peacock Scripted and Frances Berwick, who has been running NBC becoming Chairman, Bravo & Peacock Unscripted.

Igbokwe’s promotion – she will continue to lead Universal Studio Group – is not a surprise given the industry has been chattering about NBCU moving back to a vertically integrated network/studio model for around six months. Igbokwe will now oversee NBC Entertainment, including scripted, unscripted, late-night, live events and specials, as well as all scripted originals for Peacock
