Netflix will be giving Heartstopper the finale it deserves.
The streamer announced Heartstopper will return with a feature film instead of a fourth season to conclude the series. Stars Kit Connor and Joe Locke will reprise their roles and serve as executive producers on the picture, alongside Heartstopper creator Alice Oseman.
The movie will be based on the as yet unreleased sixth volume of the Heartstopper series, written by Oseman. It will pick up after the events of Season 3 which saw Nick Nelson (Connor) and Charlie Spring (Locke) taking their relationship to the next level.
The final installment to Nick and Charlie’s love story will dare to ask, “Can first loves really last forever?”
