Netflix is officially bringing the demon slaying Kpop idols back. The streaming giant has officially confirmed that a sequel to KPop Demon Hunters is now in development, following the success of the animated musical action film that blended fantasy battles with pop stardom.
The original movie followed the members of a fictional KPop girl group Huntrix. They perform as global pop stars, but in secret, they protect the world from supernatural threats through their magical singing.

NetflixNetflix confirmed that the sequel will reunite the creative team behind the first film. Directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans are returning to guide the next chapter of the story. The new project continues Netflix’s collaboration with Sony Pictures Animation, which helped bring the original film to life.
