EXCLUSIVE: Netflix has turned to one of its most trusted documentary directors to tell the story of the Liver King‘s steroid scandal.
The streamer’s Untold franchise has enlisted Joe Pearlman to helm the Liver King film after he directed the Robbie Williams and Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now documentaries.
Pearlman’s other credits include HBO Max’s Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts and Bros documentary feature After the Screaming Stops.
Produced by Bitachon 365 and Candle True Stories, the Liver King film will examine the social backlash against the self-styled “primal living” social media guru after he admitted to steroid use.
