Netflix making key change in how it releases TV seasons

Netflix is used to being a leader in the streaming space, and for several years has been using a hybrid release model for its shows. Some get the classic Netflix binge-release treatment, while others have been split into multiple batches for a more staggered release. But speaking at this week’s Next on Netflix summit, executives of the streamer have indicated that the batch-release system is on its way out.
