Netflix has given a series order to Dad’s House, an adult animated comedy series executive produced by Michael Cusack (Smiling Friends, Yasl ), Dario Russo (Danger 5, Italian Spiderman, The Fox) and David Ashby (Danger 5, Italian Spiderman).
Cusack, Russ and Ashby also serve as showrunners and star in the voice cast, along with Felicity Ward (The Office, Wakefield, The Inbetweeners 2). The series hails from Princess Studios and Bento Box Entertainment.
Dad’s House is set in small-town suburban Australia, where 13-year-old child of divorce, Sean, spends every second weekend with his laidback, but well meaning dad, Ian. Cramming quality dad-time into a single weekend is already a tall order — but Ian has a remarkable gift for making it so much harder than it needs to be.
Dad’s House is produced by Princess Pictures and Bento Box Entertainment.
