Netflix Stand-Up Comedian Katherine Ryan Diagnosed With Skin Cancer For Second Time

Katherine Ryan has revealed that she has been diagnosed with skin cancer for the second time.

The Canadian comedian and TV personality shared the news on her podcast and social media, explaining that she recently had a cancerous mole removed from her arm.

She also mentioned that she is scheduled for a follow-up procedure next week to remove any remaining cancerous tissue.

According to BBC News, Ryan, known for her role in the Netflix series The Duchess, as well as a few stand-up comedy specials, was first diagnosed with skin cancer in 2004, when a “golf ball-sized lump” was removed from her thigh. This time, she shared that a doctor initially dismissed her concerns, but further tests confirmed that her mole was “early melanoma.”
