Netflix’s Ben Kelly Exiting Unscripted Series Role In The UK After Six Years

EXCLUSIVE: Ben Kelly is exiting his Director of Unscripted Series role at Netflix UK & Ireland after six years at the streamer.

Kelly has been one of Netflix UK’s key commissioning leaders, building out its unscripted slate alongside Daisy Lilley with shows such as Too Hot to Handle and Love is Blind.

There’s no word on the next move for the well-liked exec, who is credited internally for building Netflix’s unscripted team and building its reality TV slate in the UK, working under Anne Mensah, VP of Content.

He initially joined as Manager of Nonfiction Series, as Deadline revealed in 2019, and was made responsible for ordering global formats out of the UK.
