Noah Kahan On Working With Aaron Dessner To Produce New Album ‘The Great Divide’ & Getting Deeply Personal In Upcoming Doc ‘Out Of Body’ — SXSW Studio

Noah Kahan will follow up his hit 2022 album Stick Season next month with another deeply reflective self-study in his fourth studio album The Great Divide. In addition to continuing his collaboration with Stick Season producer Gabe Simon, Kahan also enlisted The National’s Aaron Dessner for the latest project.

“I think Aaron was the perfect collaborator for this album, not only because he’s so talented and works with my favorite artists, but just because he’s really, really human, and he’s been through it all before,” Kahan told Deadline at our SXSW studio recently.

The musician attended the festival to promote his upcoming Netflix documentary Noah Kahan: Out of Body. In it, Kahan reflects on his meteoric rise just a few years ago while also laying bare his struggles with mental health and facing the pressures of self-discovery.
