Tara and I were looking for a family-friendly show to watch with my parents as we waited for the next episode of “Rooster” on HBO Max, and ended up diving into “Love Story.” Ryan Murphy’s latest series looks at the whirlwind relationship between John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette in the 1990’s, and it’s a lot of fun. My parents love the nostalgia factor, while Tara and I vibed with the performances from Sarah Pidgeon and Paul Anthony Kelly. A show like this lives and dies with the chemistry between the leads, and I’m happy to say it’s popping. It got me in the mood for some other series about love, longing, and all the complicated feelings that come with it. So, here are the top seven romance TV shows on streaming.
