‘Off Campus’ TV Series Based On Elle Kennedy’s Books Ordered By Prime Video

EXCLUSIVE: Following the outsized success of Prime Video‘s YA drama The Summer I Turned Pretty, Amazon is bringing another popular romantic book series to the screen. The streamer has given a series order to Off Campus, a college-set romantic drama based on the international best-selling novels by Elle Kennedy, with Louisa Levy (Death and Other Details) serving as showrunner.

The TV adaptation, produced by Amazon MGM Studios, is starting the way the book series does, with the first season based on the first novel, the 2015 The Deal, following the unlikely romance between a wry, hockey-hating music major and Briar University’s playboy star center.

There are 5 books in Kennedy’s Off-Campus series, which depicts the elite ice hockey team, and the women in their lives, as they grapple with love, heartbreak, and self-discovery—forging deep friendships and enduring bonds while navigating the complexities that come with transitioning
