EXCLUSIVE: Ol Parker will direct Jennnifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein in the Netflix romcom, Office Romance.
We hear the production will be shooting in New Jersey this March.
Deadline told you first that Lopez was set to continue her mass-appealing movie streak with the streamer on this irreverent comedy project that 2x Ted Lasso Emmy winning Goldstein co-wrote with Joe Kelly.
Producers are Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett for Ryder Picture Company; Goldstein, Joe Kelly; and Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, and Benny Medina for Nuyorican Films. EP is Courtney Baxter for Nuyorican Films.
Parker directed such Universal hits as Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again which grossed close to $400M, as well as the studio’s Juilia Roberts and George Clooney romcom, Ticket to Paradise, which at close to $170M WW repped a comeback for the genre post Covid, as well as older moviegoers.
