‘Outlander’ Final Season Hits 4-Year Viewership High With Premiere

The eighth and final season of Starz‘s Outlander drew nearly three million multi-platform viewers in its premiere week, a four-year series high, with several more platforms yet to report.

The time-traveling drama based on Diana Gabaldon’s best-selling books, airs its third episode March 20, with new episodes streaming weekly on Fridays.

In Season 8, Jamie (Sam Heughan ) and Claire (Caitríona Balfe) soon find the war has followed them home to Fraser’s Ridge, now a thriving settlement that has grown and flourished in their absence.
