Netflix’s The Night Agent and The Recruit topped Nielsen‘s streaming list from January 27 to February 2, but there was another political thriller that made quite an impressive debut during this interval as well.
Paradise stormed onto the streaming originals list with 550M viewing minutes across the first three episodes. The first episode was released on January 26, and the succeeding two dropped on January 28.
Political thrillers have been all the rage recently and, interestingly, Nielsen points out that Paradise attracted 58% of its audience from the 35-64 demo, like Night Agent and Recruit, but drew a larger share of Black viewers than the other two.
