The André Øvredal-directed horror pic Passenger will now go on May 22, 2026, over Memorial Day weekend, instead of May 29.
The movie starring Melissa Leo, Jacob Scipio and Lou Llobell will now join the competitive yet heavily trafficked weekend that already includes Disney/Lucasfilm’s The Mandalorian and Grogu, Neon’s Boots Riley comedy I Love Boosters which world premiered last night at SXSW, and Black Bear’s limited release of its Dustin Hoffman-Leo Woodall heist pic Tuner.
The blurb for the movie penned by T.W. Burgess and Zachary Donohue: A few weeks into their van life adventure, a young couple witnesses a horrific accident that leaves the driver dead. Soon they’re being pursued by a demonic stalker who’s impossible to outrun and follows them wherever they go.
