Even before Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison officially took over the big chair in 2025, he was clear on his desire to improve Paramount’s streaming services from a tech standpoint. Ellison has now provided an update, saying that Paramount will achieve a major technical milestone in the second quarter of this year that should benefit not only cord-cutters but the company’s bottom line as well.
Key Details: Coming together: Paramount will unify the tech stacks of Paramount+, Pluto TV, and BET+ in Q2. Stronger ties: BET+ and Paramount+ will be combined in June. Not so serious: Ellison once again tried to downplay the job cuts Paramount will see after a WBD acquisition.
