Prime Video has delivered an early holiday parcel to its streaming subscribers — the Christmas action movie Red One.
Streaming audiences both naughty and nice can watch the festive Chris Evans and Dwayne Johnson team up less than a month after it premiered in theaters. The PG-13-rated film revolves around the abduction of Santa, portrayed by J.K. Simmons. The fate of Christmas comes down to Evans’ infamous bounty hunter and Johnson’s North Pole security head. The flick also includes Lucy Liu, a talking polar bear and some villains steeped in chilling folklore.
In addition to Red One, Prime Video’s collection of new holiday content includes the animated movie The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland (also streaming on Hulu), the comedy title Jack in Time for Christmas, Jeff Dunham’s Scrooged-Up Holiday Special and last year’s original film Candy Cane Lane.
