The smart glasses space is moving fast, and one of the more credible players in the AR wearables market just planted its flag in Europe.
Rokid, the Chinese AR and AI company founded in 2014, has officially launched in Germany with a dedicated e-commerce store and a Munich launch event last week. The company launched two products: the Rokid Glasses and the Rokid Ai Glasses NEO.
Two Devices, Two Different Use Cases
RokidThe Rokid Glasses are the flagship of the two. They feature a dual-eye AR display, real-time translation and transcription, and a multi-LLM AI assistant that works with both GPT and Gemini. The idea is that you can pull up information, communicate across languages, and manage tasks without having to touch your phone.
All of that runs on a Qualcomm AR1 platform inside a 49g frame, which is light enough that you might actually wear them
