In one of Netflix‘s quickest renewals for a first-year series, the streamer has picked up basketball comedy Running Point for a second season just a week after its release. The news comes a week after the show, starring Kate Hudson, premiered Feb. 27 and hours after Netflix canceled drama The Recruit after two seasons. Meanwhile, fellow Netflix freshman comedy series No Good Deed is still awaiting word on its fate almost three months after its release.
In its debut weekend, Running Point scored 9.3 million views and ranked in the Top 10 across 83 countries.
