
Savannah Guthrie will be returning to The Today Show for an emotional interview with Hoda Kotb, marking her first camera appearance since her mother’s abduction.
Kotb, who has been filling in for Guthrie on The Today Show, shared a sneak peek at the two-part interview on the morning broadcast Wednesday (March 25.) In the interview, both Guthrie and Kotb are fighting back tears as Guthrie opens up about the “agony” of the ongoing investigation and appealed to viewers to share any possible information they may have.
“Someone needs to do the right thing,” Guthrie said. “We are in agony. It is unbearable.”
