Scott Stuber & Amazon’s Revamped United Artists Sets Patrick Chu As Head Of Television

EXCLUSIVE: Scott Stuber has set Patrick Chu as Head of Television at his production company which is relaunching the United Artists label with Amazon MGM Studios.

Reporting directly to Stuber, Chu will lead the company’s TV department, overseeing development and production of the TV slate, which includes the NASCAR family drama series Godspeed with Amazon and Sugar23.

Chu joins Stuber and UA from Annapurna, where he served as Head of Television since 2022. During his tenure there, he executive-produced The Changeling and two seasons of the animated comedy Sausage Party. He also executive-produced the recently released feature The Testament of Ann Lee, directed by Mona Fastvold, and Olivia Wilde’s Sundance hit The Invite, releasing this June from A24.

Prior to Annapurna, Chu was a drama programming and development executive at Amazon Studios, where he oversaw the TV adaptations of Hanna and Hunters. Before that, he was Vice President of Production & Acquisitions at FilmNation, where he produced Kill Switch, executive-produced Miss Sloane, and
