When Episode 11 wraps, there’s no question that co-creator Bill Lawrence completed his initial three-season arc that explored grief, forgiveness, and moving forward. So before the Emmy-nominated Apple TV comedy landed a surprise Season 4 renewal, I wrote that if the series were to end here, it would be a “satisfying, full-circle conclusion.” The sentiment still stands, but because “And That’s Our Time” sticks the landing so beautifully, I’m so also damn glad our time with Shrinking isn’t over.
