EXCLUSIVE: Sky is skating to the second season of Heated Rivalry.
The buzziest show of the year’s second run will land on Sky in the UK when it comes out next year. Adapted from Rachel Reid’s Game Changers novels, the second season will pick up Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov’s (Connor Storrie) love story where it left off.
Ice hockey drama Heated Rivalry has been a huge hit and talking point all year. It is an original for Canada’s Crave but has been sold around the world by distributor Sphere Abacus, including to Sky and HBO.
Sky is hosting an Up Next event tonight for talent and press in the UK. The pay-TV giant has acquired a host of other shows including YAGA, which also stars Heated Rivalry’s Williams and comes from Crave.
