EXCLUSIVE: FX is rounding out cast for its as-yet untitled Snowfall spinoff series, adding nine in recurring roles. Isidora Goreshter (Shameless), Mykelti Williamson (The Last Rodeo) Brandon Mychal Smith (You’re The Worst), and Nicki Micheaux (Night Patrol) heavily recur, along with Eric Balfour (The Offer), Richard Portnow (EZ Street), Zaire Adams (Trap House), Demetrius Grosse (Banshee) and OG Snowfall cast member Quincy Chad. They will join original series stars Gail Bean and Isaiah John, who are reprising their roles as Wanda and Leon Simmons, respectively.
Set in ‘90s Los Angeles, the new series follows Snowfall characters Wanda (Bean) and Leon (John) as they fight to take West Coast rap mainstream while gang wars erupt and record labels move to exploit hip hop culture for their own gain.
Previously announced Asante Blackk, Peyton Alex Smith and Simmie Sims III also star.
