EXCLUSIVE: Big news here before Amazon MGM Studios takes the stage a second time at Caesars Palace Colosseum and that’s that the new Spaceballs movie will be rolling into theaters on April 23, 2027.
Don’t underestimate that final weekend of April at the box office, it’s always been rich whether it’s Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, Fast Five, or this year’s Michael from Lionsgate.
The feature directed by Josh Greenbaum (Will & Harper) and written by Josh Gad, Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit, has a storyline that’s being kept secret, but you can probably figure out that it’s a follow-up to the first 1987 cult Mel Brooks directed and starring feature.
Returning cast members include Brooks, Rick Moranis, Bill Pullman, George Wynder and Daphne Zuniga with new thespians including Gad, Keke Palmer, Lewis Pullman and Anthony Carrigan.
