Stream It Or Skip It: ‘The Miniature Wife’ On Peacock, Where A Married Couple Battle For Power After A Husband Accidentally Shrinks His Wife

The new Peacock dramedy The Miniature Wife is based on a short story about how a wife fights for her marriage after her husband accidentally shrinks her. Seems like a far-out premise, but if anyone can pull it off, it’s the show’s stars, Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen.

Opening Shot: As we push in on different rooms in disarray, decorated for Christmas, in a lavish house, we hear a voice over: “This is love. Love; it’s supposed to be patient and kind. But let’s be honest; it’s irrational. It can make us crazy, and sometimes downright insane.”
