Sara Eisen returned to The View as a guest co-host on Wednesday, sparking some lively debate with Sunny Hostin.
The first hot topic tackled on Wednesday’s episode was top counterterrorism official Joe Kent resigning from Donald Trump‘s administration, and his resignation letter in which he wrote that “Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.”
Eisen said she thinks “it’s fair to debate the merits of the war,” as The View does, and “whether it was imminent,” but highlighted that “what jumps off the page” to her is the blaming of “pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.”
