Taste for a Cure to Host ‘American Idol’ Reunion by Confirming Ryan Seacrest and Carrie Underwood

The UCLA Jonsson Cancer Foundation is finalizing the menu, er program, for its 29th annual Taste for a Cure, and the gala is shaping up to be an American Idol reunion of sorts.

Set to take place at Fox Studios in Los Angeles on May 1, Taste for a Cure will honor Paramount’s chair of TV media, George Cheeks, with the Gil Nickel Humanitarian Award. American Idol veteran Ryan Seacrest is confirmed to host the whole affair, which will feature a headline performance from none other than Idol winner turned superstar Carrie Underwood.
