There ain’t a whole lot of places like AFC Richmond, right? Coach Lasso’s words have new meaning now that Apple TV Plus announced Ted Lasso season 4 has been greenlit. On Friday, the company shared the series will return to the streaming service, with star Jason Sudeikis reprising his role as the tenderhearted coach.
The last time fans saw Ted in season 3, he’d left London and returned home to Wichita, Kansas, to spend more time with his son, and wound up coaching the youth soccer time. Meanwhile, Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham) sold part of AFC Richmond to the football club’s fans. The shortbread biscuit ritual came to a sweet end.
But Sudeikis hints that season 4 will see the team take big risks.
