Streaming the latest TV shows and biggest blockbuster movies is now the most convenient way to enjoy movies. It’s also become much cheaper over the years with devices like the Roku Ultra streaming box, which has remained one of CNET’s recommendations for watching TV. And the new 2024 model has seen a lift in its technology. While Black Friday isn’t here quite yet, it’s great to see the Roku Ultra 2024 has dropped to $80 — within $1 of the cheapest price we’ve seen for this model since its release.
The Roku Ultra is at the top end of Roku’s lineup and has all the features you’re likely to need from a streaming device. Those features include support for 4K streaming, not to mention HDR with Dolby Vision. There’s also support for Dolby Atmos for those with compatible audio systems.
