There’s a definite drought of new thrillers on Netflix, and it’s extending past the summer and into September. Under normal circumstances, Netflix has one of the best lineups of thrillers that you can find online. But for the last few months, it’s losing more thrillers than it’s gaining. And the selection of fresh thrillers is extremely slim.
The only recent arrival that meets the mark is Rebel Ridge, an original film that raced to the top of the list of the most popular movies on Netflix. It may also be one of the best Netflix movies of the year.
