The Boys has been scandalizing viewers since viewers first saw Hughie’s (Jack Quaid) poor girlfriend explode in the series premiere in 2019. Now, Hughie and the rest of The Boys may get their final showdown against the supes in the fifth and final season of the Prime Video series.
The Season 5 premise makes it clear things have only gotten worse after Homelander (Antony Starr) basically seized control of the country. According to Prime Video’s summary for Season 5, the new season picks up after The Boys were caught and sent to a “Freedom Camp,” while Annie is still working to launch a resistance against the Supes and Kimiko is nowhere to be found.
