
EXCLUSIVE: More cast has been set for Apple TV‘s untitled TV series based on Metropolis from Philip Kerr’s Berlin Noir novels.
Amir El-Masry (Giant, The Crown), Stephen Campbell Moore (Industry, Criminal Record), Alex Nowak (Coffee Morning Club, The End), Jacob McCarthy (SAS: Rogue Heroes, Mary & George) and Amanda Lawrence (Gone, Malory Towers) are the latest additions to the ensemble cast.
Based on Kerr’s global bestselling Berlin Noir book series and produced by Industry maker Bad Wolf, Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman’s PlayTone and German co-producerStudio Babelsberg, the series follows iconic detective Bernie Gunther’s origin story in 1928, as the young police office is promoted to the intimidating and elite Berlin Murder Squad to investigate what appears to be a serial killer on the edge of society.
