‘The Housemaid 2’: “We Start Shooting In The Fall” Says Paul Feig – Oscars Red Carpet

Housemaid lovers, don’t fret, you’ll get your sequel soon.

Paul Feig told Antonia Blyth on the Oscras red carpet that the script is in, he’s doing a rewrite and “we start shooting in the fall.”

Based on the second novel in Freida McFadden’s novel series, The Housemaid’s Secret sees Sydney Sweeney’s Millie Calloway, the housemaid with a troubled past, uncovering a deadly scheme plotted by her employer, Wendy Garrick, who manipulates events to frame Millie for murder.

Feig said that Sweeney is coming back along with Italian actor, Michelle Morrone, who also starred in the director’s Another Simple Favor. The Housemaid was a big Christmas hit for Lionsgate, grossing close to $395M at the global box office.
