Netflix puts out a ton of shows every year, and yes, some of them completely take over the conversation like “The Night Agent.” But for every one of those, there are a few really good series that just kind of slip through the cracks. That’s exactly what happened with “Black Doves.” It’s a slick, character-driven spy thriller led by Keira Knightley, it’s packed with action, it’s got real emotional weight, and critics loved it. And yet, a lot of people either missed it entirely or just never got around to it. If you’re looking for the best under-the-radar thriller series on Netflix, this is absolutely the one I’d start with.
