Dr. Cassie McKay has had a slightly less stressful second season, at least personally; however, this has not taken away from the important work and care that actress Fiona Dourif has put into bringing the character to life on HBO Max’s The Pitt.

A lot of care has been poured into the evolution of McKay, who this season is a third-year resident, taking care of the sick and dying, while also playing one of the mother hens of the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center’s emergency room.
