The Plastic Detox is Netflix’s documentary film that delves into whether lowering daily exposure to microplastics – going on a three-month plastic detox – can improve fertility markers in couples who want to start a family.

Shanna H. Swan is an esteemed environmental and reproductive epidemiologist and helps guide the participants through their journeys, putting a human as well as scientific lens on the harms these tiny particles can have, and how we can try and avoid them.
