The (fictional) movie business is alive and well at Apple TV+.
The streamer has renewed its comedy The Studio for a second season. The series stars Seth Rogen (who also co-created it) as Matt Remick, a movie executive who is elevated to president of the fictional Continental Studios and quickly realizes he might be in over his head.
The renewal for The Studio, produced by Lionsgate Television, comes two weeks ahead of the show’s season finale, which is set for May 21.
