Abby Huntsman returned to The View this week, and had the chance to share her thoughts on current Secretary of Defense and her former co-worker, Pete Hegseth.
Whoopi Goldberg kicked off a conversation about President Donald Trump‘s recent comments about the U.S.’s military strikes in Iran, specifically him placing blame on Hegseth for going forth with the strikes, which Huntsman deemed to be “so classic Trump.”
“He does not like to take accountability for anything,” the guest co-host said.
Joy Behar added, “Unless it’s going well. Then he loves it.”
Huntsman continued, “Look at Kristi Noem. So he’s thinking if the oil prices don’t go down, it looks bad in the midterms. Pete looks at this as praise. He’s toast. If this doesn’t go well, this is not good for Pete Hegseth.”
Sunny Hostin noted that Huntsman knows Hegseth, which The View alum confirmed.
