Adapted from Peter Brown’s children’s book, The Wild Robot is about the adventures of Roz (Lupita Nyong’o), a shipwrecked robot who has to adapt to the harsh surroundings of a seemingly deserted island. But Roz begins building relationships with the animals on the island, including a fox and orphaned gosling, leading her on an emotional journey that will leave you a little teary.
The Wild Robot’s voice cast is pretty incredible, in addition to Nyong’o, it includes Pedro Pascal, Bill Nighy, Stephanie Hsu, Matt Berry, Ving Rhames, Mark Hamill and Catherine O’Hara.
