With Tubi airing Fox Sports’ Super Bowl LIX broadcast live on its platform this year, the free streaming service has plans that go beyond the big game matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.
Remember that Super Bowl LVII fake-out commercial that had people yelling at each other about who changed channels? Tubi is unleashing another campaign for this year’s event, teasing the “birth of a new character” who will be introduced on game day. A teaser clip shows a doctor saying, “Look at those little toesies,” but something tells us this isn’t tied to the brand’s rabbit symbol. In addition to a new commercial, the streamer hints that fans who watch on Feb. 9 will see another surprise or two during the event.
