Tubi’s ’80s-Inspired Horror Movie Is a Diabolically Delightful Treat for Fans

Movies and TV shows have been keen to revisit the ’80s for quite some time now. Netflix’s Stranger Things, for example, is massively popular due to its excellent recreation of the time period. But while Stranger Things tends to nail its setting, that’s not always true of its contemporaries. No matter how much attention is paid to getting the time right, there are often smaller details that feel immersion-breaking. And try as you might, it can be difficult to really “feel” as though you’re in the time period the media set out for you to believe.
