Prime Video is about to heat up our summer — with a series adaptation of a fan-favorite, chilling mystery book.
Based on E. Lockhart’s 2014 novel of the same name, We Were Liars centers on Cadence Sinclair Eastman and her friend group known as the Liars, who spend summers together on her grandfather’s private island in New England, per Amazon’s press release.
“The Sinclairs are American royalty—known for their good looks, old money, and enviable bond—but after a mysterious accident changes Cadence’s life forever, everyone, including her beloved Liars, seems to have something to hide,” the synopsis.
