The new Netflix show Sirens just so happens to be yet another star-studded dramedy about rich people being awful starring our favorite, Meghann Fahy. This time around, though, The White Lotus and The Perfect Couple alum isn’t playing one of the privileged party people caught up in a seedy murder mystery. Rather, Fahy plays the down-on-her-luck Buffalo native Devon DeWitt.
When Devon discovers that her younger sister Simone (Milly Alcock) is living in the literal thrall of her weird rich boss Michaela “Kiki” Kell (Julianne Moore), she decides to make it her mission to free her sister from this “cult.” What follows is an insane, kooky, creepy, and hilarious weekend where the sisters are forced to confront their demons and to make major choices about their respective futures.
