Last week’s episode of Severance took viewers to Salt’s Neck where Cobel (Patricia Arquette) reluctantly faced her past and made a jaw-dropping reveal: She helped invent the severance procedure! *GASP*
So what does this week have in store? Per Apple TV+, the synopsis for Severance Season 2, Episode 9, “The After Hours,” is as follows: “Outie Mark and Devon team with an unexpected ally to enact a plan. Innie Helly investigates Mark’s absence while Dylan receives hard news.”
Season 2, Episode 8 ended with Cobel speeding back to Kier while catching up with Mark over the phone, so she’s likely the “unexpected ally” who’s hatching a plan with him and Devon. As for what the trio does next, or what Helly and Dylan are up to down on the Severed Floor, you’ll have to tune in to find out.
